An original oil on board depicting Hampstead heath park, in London.
This painting was inspired by a recent study trip to London. After dealing with all of the hustle and bustle of the heart of London, popping up primrose hill felt like a literal breath of fresh air. 
Given this sense of freshness, I elected to paint the piece as bright and clean as possible. Really focusing on the lights of the greens, and subduing the city in the background with a fresh lightened Prussian blue.
